I started my career in advertising many years ago, as a copywriter at Leo Burnett. Most recently I was Chief Creative Officer of TBWA\WorldHealth, until I stepped away from full-time work in 2017. I spent 20 years in consumer, 3 years in business-to-business, and now nearly 20 years in healthcare. It’s hard to think of a category I haven’t worked in. I was the creative director of one of the most successful TV campaigns in Procter & Gamble history (now there’s a claim!), for Rejoice Shampoo in China. Similarly, I was the creative leader of the most successful pharmaceutical brand launches ever, the Gilead drugs for Hepatitis C, with over $19 billion in sales in 2015 alone. Good? Lucky? Both. Mostly lucky to work with such great people over the years.
Now I’m focused on traveling less, and doing work I enjoy, currently consulting with a good healthcare agency in Chicago, for clients in a few categories I know well. I am also delivering a series of training courses for a healthcare agency in Asia, where I lived for 11 years.
I’m also reading more, getting outside more, and cooking stuff I never had the time to.
If you’re a marketer or an agency looking for this type of experience (not the cooking part), let’s get in touch.
